Responsibilities:
  • Ability to effectively communicate project status and expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.
  • Ability to develop and track progress against detailed project plans including schedules, technical and business requirements, cost estimates, resources plans, communication plans, risk mitigatiRon plans, issues resolution and capacity planning.
  • Act pro-actively to maintain progress and minimize risk.
  • Maintain effective project controls; Prepare and submit cost estimates and calculate cost savings.
  • Lead and manage project teams, products, and processes across the lifecycle of the project.
  • Evaluate, determine, and document specific requirements related to projects and translate those requirements into resource and deliverable based roadmap with target release dates for accomplishment.
  • Provide routine reporting of project milestones, risks, impediments, and escalation requirements.
  • Oversee the development of internal and external communication processes and materials.
  • Develop effective communication strategies.
  • Present to leadership, stakeholders and/or governance groups, the vision and strategy of the project, the roadmap of planned deliveries, and capabilities to be delivered in each release.
  • Conducts cross-organizational coordination as required in support of project delivery.
  • Expedite and coordinate services to assist in managing complex projects.
  • Manage assigned tasks to completion within the schedule, budget, and scope of the project.
Qualifications:
  • Active Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
  • Previous experience in project management of large-scale deployments, upgrades, and migrations of technology services across a large enterprise.
  • Proficient in the use of MS tools, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Teams.
  • Proficient in the use of project management tracking tools, preferably MS Project.
  • Experience and understanding in data center infrastructure, including power and cooling.
  • Experience and understanding in data center IT hardware, including servers, storage, and networking.
  • Working knowledge of server operating systems, primarily Windows and Linux, and server virtualization.
  • Working knowledge of Cloud services and migrations.
  • Working knowledge in IT security tools and technologies.
  • Working knowledge of applications development life cycle, UAT testing, and applications upgrade process.

Education:

  • Master's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Systems, Business, or equivalent PLUS 15 Years of experience.
  • Ten (10) years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for education.

 

Clearance: 

  • The ability to pass a Tier 2/Moderate Background Investigation. 

 

Location:

  • Remote, USA.
  • Monday - Friday (7:30 AM - 4:00 PM CST).

 

Pay Range:

  • The pay for this position ranges from $88,730 to $102,500.
  • The actual salary offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
  • Also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of compensation, such as bonuses.
