The Family Office Executive serves as a recognized subject matter expert dedicated to the largest and most complex multi-generational families within the Private Risk segment. This role provides strategic guidance and day-to-day service administration for bespoke insurance solutions tailored to family offices. Operating with significant autonomy, the Family Office Executive partners with clients, their advisors, and internal teams to deliver innovative risk management strategies and exceptional client experiences.

Position Summary

The Family Office Executive serves as a recognized subject matter expert dedicated to the largest and most complex multi-generational families within the Private Risk segment. This role provides strategic guidance and day-to-day service administration for bespoke insurance solutions tailored to family offices. Operating with significant autonomy, the Family Office Executive partners with clients, their advisors, and internal teams to deliver innovative risk management strategies and exceptional client experiences.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for family office clients, managing highly complex risk portfolios and ensuring seamless service delivery.
  • Partner with advisors and internal business segments to design holistic risk management solutions that address evolving family office needs.
  • Participate in family office-focused education, forums, and industry groups to remain at the forefront of emerging trends and best practices.
  • Collaborate with insurance carriers to develop creative solutions for unique and complex exposures, influencing product development and underwriting strategies.
  • Conduct quarterly (or more frequent) client meetings to review coverage, identify new risks, and present tailored recommendations.
  • Oversee complex agency bill accounts, ensuring accuracy and simplicity for clients; maintain compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • as a quarterback for internal relationships, coordinating efforts across Private Risk, claims, and specialty teams to deliver integrated solutions.

Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Deep knowledge of multiple lines of coverage beyond HNW personal lines (e.g., property, liability, specialty risks).
  • Strong consultative and relationship management skills with the ability to influence senior advisors and clients.
  • Advanced problem-solving and critical thinking skills for complex, multi-faceted risk scenarios.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to present to sophisticated audiences.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and agency management systems; ability to learn new platforms quickly.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, risk management, or related field preferred.
