Responsibilities

  • Relationship Management: Manage all stakeholder relationships within the client’s business, IT, and operations units to ensure clear expectations and provide required support to achieve engagement objectives.
  • Account Growth and Proposal Development: Drive account growth by prospecting, evaluating, and proposing additional Equisoft products and services aligned with the client’s business and technology objectives.
  • Account Profitability and Delivery: Oversee P&L and ensure profitability goals are met or exceeded; collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to plan, manage, and implement projects delivering on customer commitments.
  • Account Planning and Governance: Create and maintain an annual account plan aligned with client and Equisoft objectives, identify opportunities and risks, and report progress against the plan.

Role: Reporting to the Vice President, Account Management and will be responsible for the development, management, and growth of assigned US accounts.          

Your Day with Equisoft:    

  • Relationship Management: Manage all stakeholder relationships within client’s business, IT and operations units to ensure that expectations and priorities are clear and that all required support is in place to achieve the objectives of the engagement.    

  • Account Growth: Responsible for the growth of the account by prospecting, evaluating and proposing additional Equisoft products and services in support of the client’s business and technology objectives.    

  • Account Profitability: Responsible for the P&L and meeting/exceeding the profitability goals set by Equisoft for each assigned account.   

  • Execution Commitment: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders and assist in overseeing the planning, management and implementation of customer projects related to Equisoft's products and services to ensure all customer commitments are met. 

  • Account Planning: In alignment with client’s and Equisoft’s objectives, create an annual account plan detailing opportunities to be pursued, relationships to be nurtured and account risks.  The Account Manager will manage and report regularly against the account plan. 

Requirements: 

Technical 

  • Bachelor Degree in Information Technology, Insurance, Finance or a related field  

  • Minimum 8-10 years of experience with strong account management, relationship management and/or business development experience 

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the Insurance and/or Wealth Distribution market (advisors, brokers, general agents, etc.) 

  • Excellent knowledge of Program and Project Management 

  • Must have experience with proposal creation and contract management 

  • Consulting experience in IT and/or in the insurance industry 

  • Must be willing to travel 30-40% monthly 

  • Excellent knowledge of English (Written and Oral)  

Soft skills 

  • Must have experience interacting with and building executive level client relationships 

  • Strong leadership, interpersonal, communication, presentation and negotiating skills 

  • Strong sense of organization and prioritizing 

  • Ability to communicate, write and synthesize information
