Company momentum:
Raised a $55M Series A from leading investors
Built a team of 70+ AI experts from Tesla, Google DeepMind, NVIDIA, and Databricks
At Brain Co., we focus on applying frontier AI to real institutional challenges, working alongside governments, healthcare systems, and critical industries to modernize how essential services operate.
We are looking for leaders who want to help bring new technology into institutions that impact millions of people.
Own the deal review cycle across our active pipeline — coordinating redlines with external counsel, aligning stakeholders, and bringing leadership a single, clear recommendation on each deal
Build the playbooks, templates, and systems that let us review 2–3x more deals per week without adding headcount
Develop Brain Co's point of view on key commercial terms — especially around AI-specific IP, data rights, indemnification, and pricing
Surface patterns and flag risks so leadership can make faster, more informed decisions on deal structure
Manage relationships with our external legal partners to ensure quality, consistency, and cost efficiency
8-10+ years in legal ops, commercial contracts, or deal desk roles — ideally in SaaS or AI
You've managed external counsel and know how to get the most out of outside lawyers without running up the bill
You're a systems builder — you see a manual process and immediately think about how to scale it
Strong commercial judgment — you understand when a contract term is a real risk vs. a negotiating posture
Excellent written communication — you can turn a messy redline into a clean memo that a CEO can act on in 5 minutes
You're creative about deal structure — you don't just say "we can't do that," you come back with "here's what we could do instead"
Comfortable in ambiguity — we're building this function from the ground up
Experience at an AI company or selling AI/ML products to enterprise
Familiarity with regulated industries (healthcare, financial services, government)
Finance chops — you understand pricing models and can weigh in on commercial terms
Experience with CLM platforms (Ironclad, DocuSign CLM, Juro)
Part-time contractor
