Role: CPI Lead (Cloud Platform Infrastructure) with Python – GCP Starting Date: Immediately Contract: long term Work Place: São Paulo/SP (100% remote) Work Time: 9h00 to 18h00 Language: Enghish advanced is mandatory and Spanish is desirable Position Overview We are seeking a CPI Lead (Cloud Platform Infrastructure) with strong expertise in Python and deep experience in designing and implementing cloud infrastructure at scale. This professional will lead the foundation and evolution of cloud environments, driving large-scale migration initiatives and establishing robust, secure, and scalable platforms within the Google Cloud ecosystem. The role requires a highly technical leader with hands-on capabilities, capable of defining landing zones, orchestrating workloads, and ensuring the successful transition from traditional data centers to cloud-native architectures. Key Responsibilities • Lead the design and implementation of cloud landing zones using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with Terraform • Define and implement infrastructure foundations, including networking, security, identity, and governance • Orchestrate and manage workloads using services such as GKE, GCE, GCVE, and GCS • Design and implement CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure and application delivery • Lead large-scale Data Center Exit and cloud migration initiatives to Google Cloud • Develop automation scripts and tools using Python to improve operational efficiency • Ensure platform reliability, scalability, security, and cost optimization • Collaborate with architecture, engineering, and business teams to align infrastructure strategy with business objectives Required Qualifications • Proven experience leading cloud infrastructure and platform engineering initiatives • Strong hands-on experience with Terraform for Infrastructure as Code • Solid experience designing landing zones and enterprise-grade cloud foundations • Deep knowledge of GCP services, including GKE, GCE, GCVE, and GCS • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices • Strong programming skills in Python for automation and orchestration • Experience with large-scale cloud migrations and Data Center Exit programs Preferred Certifications • Google Professional Cloud Architect • Google Professional Cloud Network Engineer • Google Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer Preferred Qualifications • Experience in enterprise-scale cloud transformation programs • Strong understanding of cloud security, governance, and compliance frameworks • Experience with multi-region and high-availability architectures • Familiarity with FinOps and cost optimization strategies Key Competencies • Strategic and technical leadership • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills • High ownership and accountability • Effective stakeholder communication (technical and executive) • Ability to operate in complex, large-scale environments Further information will be given along the technical interview.
