The primary objectives and responsibilities of an Associate Front-End Developer include:
- Build and maintain UI components using Vue.js;
- Implement designs into responsive, user‑friendly interfaces;
- Write clean and maintainable code;
- Integrate front-end features with REST or GraphQL APIs;
- Write and update unit tests for UI components;
- Fix bugs and perform corrective maintenance;
- Refactor existing code to improve quality and performance;
- Participate in Scrum ceremonies (planning, stand‑ups, reviews);
- Collaborate with backend developers, QA, and designers;
- Follow Git workflows and use tools like JIRA and Bitbucket.
What you’ll bring to the table:
Essential:
- Some experience in front‑end development or strong internship / project experience;
- Practical experience building UI using Vue.js (academic, personal, or professional projects);
- Solid understanding of JavaScript, HTML, and CSS;
- Familiarity with component‑based development and basic Vue.js concepts (props, events, lifecycle hooks).
Desirable:
- Experience consuming REST APIs or GraphQL APIs from the front-end;
- Basic experience with unit testing;
- Familiarity with Git version control and collaborative workflows;
- Experience working in or exposure to an Agile / Scrum environment;
- Ability to fix bugs, refactor simple code, and follow existing code standards;
- Good communication skills and openness to feedback and learning;
- Interest in a long term career in software development.
In the interest of Pay Transparency, the base salary range for this position is €1500-€1800 gross/month, plus the opportunity for a bonus. This salary may vary based on location and experience.
