What This Role Entails:
Voice data annotation might be unfamiliar to many, so let us clarify. AI voice assistants—those that understand your speech and respond intelligently—do not learn independently. Their learning is based on thousands of hours of real human speech, meticulously annotated by experts. That is the core of your role. You will listen to audio recordings of real conversations in Hindi, Tamil, or Malayalam and precisely document what is said, by whom, and how. Think of this as being a highly skilled court stenographer, but for AI. This position involves quiet, focused, and independent work that is detail-oriented and repetitive. If you enjoy finding a rhythm, working closely with language, and take pride in accuracy, this role will be a great fit for you.

Your Daily Responsibilities Include:

• Verbatim Transcription: Accurately type exactly what is spoken in the audio, word for word, including filler words, pauses, and code-switching (for example, Hinglish).
• Speaker Diarization: Determine and label each speaker throughout the conversation (Speaker 1, Speaker 2, etc.).
• Intent Tagging: Identify what the speaker intends to achieve (such as asking a question, making a complaint, or confirming information).
• Emotion Labeling: Recognize and label the speaker’s emotional tone at various points (e.g., frustrated, happy, neutral, confused).
• Quality Checks: Review your own work to ensure it meets accuracy standards of 98% before submission.

Requirements:

• Full professional fluency in both written and spoken English.
• Full professional fluency in at least one of the following: Hindi, Tamil, or Malayalam, including spoken comprehension and typed output.
• A minimum typing speed of 45 words per minute in your regional language.
• Comfortable with focused, repetitive work for extended periods—this is essential.
• Availability to start immediately or within 5 days, with no exceptions.
• Access to a stable internet connection, a quiet workspace, and a functional laptop.

Compensation & Terms

• This is a contractual position with monthly compensation.
• Salary ranges from ₹25,000 to ₹35,000 per month.
• Location: Remote.
