Job Title: Patient Coordinator

Location: South Africa, Remote

Work Type: Full-Time, US Hours (9am-5pm EST)

• Coordinate patient appointments and follow-ups effectively, ensuring timely communication.
• Serve as the first point of contact for patients, addressing inquiries and directing concerns appropriately.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including medical history and insurance information.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to facilitate patient care plans.
• Assist patients in navigating insurance processes and understanding their healthcare options.
• Ensure confidentiality and compliance with healthcare regulations such as HIPAA.
• Provide exceptional customer service to enhance patient satisfaction.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor's degree in healthcare or related field preferred.
• Previous experience in healthcare administration or patient coordination is a plus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-centered approach.
• Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) and office software.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of healthcare regulations and privacy laws.
