Associate Director, GovCon Accounting at Urrly

Lead delivery inside a growing GovCon finance function while staying remote.

• Role: Associate Director of Finance & Accounting
• Location/Type: U.S. Remote • Quarterly travel to DC area
• Pay: $165,000-$180,000 base + 15%-25% target bonus

You will be the number-two leader in a multi-client GovCon accounting practice. This role is less about being the deepest technical SME and more about blending controller-level accounting credibility with people leadership, delivery ownership, and project discipline.

What you'll do

• Lead client delivery across a multi-client portfolio
• Backfill controller-level work when needed
• Build project tracking and delivery discipline
• Resolve capacity, deadline, and handoff risk
• Coach, delegate, and develop team members
• Manage client conversations with accounting credibility
• Improve process, consistency, and operating rhythm

Must-Haves

• GovCon accounting experience in live operating environments
• Controller-level accounting credibility with clients
• People management accountability
• Project management and delivery execution strength
• FAR and GovCon compliance working knowledge
• Multi-client or professional services experience

Nice-to-Have

• CPA
• Unanet or Deltek Costpoint experience
• Project controller or program controller background
• Small-company finance leadership with broad operational scope
