Job Description:

Part Time 24 hours a week (REMOTE)

Monday - Thursday 9:00 - 2:00

Friday - 9:00 - 1:00

Demonstrates professionalism and accountability. Models ethical behavior in decision making. Incorporates patient, physician, and customer needs and concerns into decision-making and organizational action. Sets up and accurately maintains files both electronically and on paper, including logs, reports, and records. Retrieves and distributes mail daily. Assists with the coordination of meetings, agendas, and minutes, and schedules appointments for the department. Utilizes available computer resources to minimize manual processes and serves as a resource person on computer software usage and techniques. Exhibits good judgment and time management skills to accomplish daily tasks and suggests cost-saving measures. Other duties as assigned. Answers the phone, directs calls, and takes messages. Maintains a pleasant, caring attitude when greeting customers and patients. Types, edits, proofreads, and distributes reports and documents.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
• Typing speed of at least 50 words per minute [Required]
• Must exhibit ability to use personal computer, copier, telephone, and facsimile machine [Required]
• Previous work processing experience in a medical setting [Preferred]
• Proficient in Word and Excel software [Preferred]
• Excellent communication and time management skills [Required]
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office [Preferred]

Education:
• High School Grad or Equiv [Required]

Field of Study:
• in hospitality, business, nutrition, or related field

Work Experience:
• 1+ secretarial or receptionist experience [Required]
• Position-Related Experience [Required]
