DevOps Engineer

Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced DevOps / Platform Engineer to own and manage our Google Cloud Platform (GCP) foundation. This role is critical in enabling secure, reliable, and scalable API delivery while supporting operational readiness for FHIR integrations and AI-facing service wrappers. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain GCP infrastructure, deployment pipelines, and runtime environments for backend services and APIs.
• Own and manage CI/CD processes, environment promotion, secrets management, infrastructure automation, and release reliability.
• Implement comprehensive observability solutions including logging, metrics, tracing, alerting, and operational dashboards.
• Support scalable hosting architectures for APIs, FHIR services, and MCP-enabled components using GCP-native services.
• Manage IAM, network controls, security policies, and platform guardrails in collaboration with engineering leadership.
• Drive improvements in reliability, deployment speed, recovery readiness, and production support practices.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 2-4 years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or platform engineering roles.
• Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform services including Cloud Run, GKE, Pub/Sub, Cloud Build, Artifact Registry, IAM, VPC, logging, and monitoring.
• Proven expertise with infrastructure as code, CI/CD automation, containerized workloads, and production operations.
• Solid understanding of API gateways, authentication mechanisms, secret management, and platform security controls.
• Experience supporting highly available backend services in production environments.
• Excellent troubleshooting, automation, and collaboration skills.

Preferred Experience:

• Experience working in regulated industries or healthcare environments.
• Familiarity with AI or agent-enabling infrastructure patterns and platforms.
