The opportunity
Reporting to the Head of HSE Operations, you’ll operate as a trusted advisor and change agent, partnering with operational leaders to embed a proactive, people-first safety culture.
This is more than compliance. It’s about shaping behaviours, strengthening leadership capability, and driving meaningful, measurable improvement across complex logistics environments.
You’ll work across our Intermodal, Linehaul, and Fleet networks bringing visibility to risk, clarity to decision-making, and momentum to our safety and sustainability journey.
What you’ll be trusted to deliver
Champion and embed TGE’s HSE strategy across diverse, fast-paced operations
Partner with leaders to build accountability and lift safety maturity at every level
Lead high-quality incident investigations that go beyond symptoms to uncover root causes
Coach, influence, and develop teams to create sustainable behavioural change
Drive continuous improvement across systems, reporting, and compliance frameworks
Contribute to broader environmental and sustainability initiatives shaping our future
About you
You’re not just technically strong you know how to bring people with you.
You’re confident operating in complex environments, comfortable challenging when needed, and skilled at turning strategy into action.
You build trust quickly, influence without authority, and take pride in creating safer, better workplaces.
What you bring
Proven experience in an HSE Business Partner or senior advisory role
Background in transport, logistics, or similarly high-risk, operational environments
Strong working knowledge of WHS legislation and risk management frameworks
Demonstrated success in incident investigation and driving meaningful improvement
Excellent communication, coaching, and stakeholder engagement skills
Relevant tertiary qualifications in Health & Safety, Environmental Management, or similar
