Lead a cross-functional product triad to revolutionize social care through technology. As a hands-on Tech Lead, you will spend 70% of your time writing production code and 30% mentoring developers. You'll architect scalable systems using Ruby on Rails and Vue.js that empower over 425,000 carers to deliver person-centred care daily.

What you will do:

• Write production code across the full stack including Ruby on Rails, PHP (Symfony), Vue.js/TypeScript, and AWS infrastructure.

• Lead a product triad alongside a Product Owner and Designer, owning technical delivery and architectural decisions for your team's domain.

• Mentor and develop three direct reports through regular pair-programming, code reviews, and career growth planning.

The ideal candidate:

• Extensive professional experience in object-oriented development, particularly with backgrounds in Ruby, Java, or C#.

• Proven track record of leading technical delivery and managing the technical risks of long-lived, scalable SaaS systems.

• Strong product engineering mindset with a focus on observability, CI/CD pipelines, and designing for long-term maintainability.
