Job Description :

This is a full-time remote position that can be located anywhere in the U.S.

 

  • Execute manual and automation test cases for the application suite, including functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing to ensure software quality and reliability
  • Design, create, and maintain comprehensive test cases in Azure DevOps based on user stories, acceptance criteria, and business requirements
  • Perform thorough defect identification, documentation, and tracking through the complete resolution lifecycle, ensuring clear reproduction steps and severity classification
  • Actively participate in Agile Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog grooming, sprint demos, daily standups, and test case peer reviews
  • Collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and business analysts to define test coverage, validate requirements, and ensure alignment with business objectives
  • Develop and maintain automation test scripts for the application suite to increase test efficiency and coverage (preferred)
  • Support Deg and QA/UAT validation testing during release cycles
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and testing best practices
Qualifications:
  • BS in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 5+ years of manual software testing experience
  • Experience with medical billing, healthcare claims processing, or insurance domain (preferred)

Proficiency in:

  • Manual test case design and execution
  • Test management tools (Azure DevOps or similar)
  • SQL Server (ability to write basic queries for data validation)
  • API testing concepts (RESTful services)
  • Preferred:
  • Automation test writing experience (Selenium, Coded UI Editor)
  • Familiarity with:
  • Web application testing (.NET Framework applications)
  • Database testing and data verification

Domain Knowledge (Preferred):

  • Understanding of medical billing workflows
  • Knowledge of CPT, ICD-10, HCPCS coding systems
  • Familiarity with Auto Insurance claims processing

Essential Qualities:

  • Strong attention to detail and analytical mindset
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to understand complex business workflows
  • Willingness to develop deep expertise in medical billing domain
  • Good collaboration skills for working with cross-functional teams
  • Quick learner and able to adapt in fast-paced environment

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with medical bill review systems
  • Exposure to automation testing tools
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies

The expected base pay for this position ranges from $34.25 - $48.08 hourly, and will be based on a number of additional factors including skills, experience, and education.
