As an Accounting Generalist on the Reporting, Tax, & Transformation Team, you will be responsible for completing various operational finance tasks and play a key role in the company's month-end reporting processes. You will be a critical member of the Finance team as you work with various stakeholders to provide complete and accurate reporting of the company's consolidated results in addition to other responsibilities assisting in the Tax and Finance Transformation functions of the team.
The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, keen attention to detail, and the ability to effectively collaborate with team members across various departments.
The role will report to the Senior Accounting Manager.
This is a full-time role, on a US shift and on a Work From Home set-up.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Prepare month-end US GAAP consolidated results for booking to our ultimate parent company's ledger system
Perform analysis and reconciliations of financial data, including investigation and commentary on identified reconciling items and/or variances
Act as a key resource for the broader Finance team's internal and external reporting needs, including extracting, reconciling, and presenting data from our OneStream and NetSuite systems
Prepare quarterly financial statements for distribution to landlords and investors
Assist the Senior Tax Analyst with tax compliance in areas such as sales taxes, property taxes, and business license taxes
Drive execution of Finance Transformation projects that ensure processes are growing, modernizing, and are fit for purpose in Industrious' fast-paced environment of commercial growth and ambitions
Prepare journal entry postings for month-end close relating to consolidated reporting adjustments, Statutory-to-US GAAP adjustments, and tax transactions
Assist with treasury and cash reporting needs
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
5+ years of experience in accounting or finance roles
Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel (knowledge of NetSuite and / or OneStream is a plus)
Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in work
Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Good communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration across teams
