Job description

David Kennedy Recruitment is working with a leading financial services company who are looking to recruit a Head of APAC/ASIA.

Position: Head of APAC/ASIA
Location: APAC/Asia, Remote
Employment type: Full-time

About the role.
The Head of Asia will be responsible for building, leading, and executing the company’s commercial strategy across the region. This is a senior leadership role requiring a hands-on operator with a strong track record in scaling FX/CFD businesses, driving revenue, and developing high-performing teams and partner networks.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Define and execute the APAC growth strategy across key markets including Southeast Asia and China

  • Build, scale, and optimize regional operations, including local teams and infrastructure

  • Drive revenue growth through client acquisition, deposits, and increased trading volume

  • Develop, manage, and expand Introducing Broker (IB) and affiliate networks

  • Lead, hire, and mentor regional business development and sales teams

  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key partners, KOLs, and institutional clients

  • Identify new market opportunities and ensure strong competitive positioning

  • Oversee regional P&L, budgeting, and performance targets

  • Collaborate closely with senior leadership on global strategy and expansion initiatives.

 

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Native or fluent in English (C1 level), with strong proficiency in both written and spoken communication. Additional Asian languages considered a strong advantage

  • 10+ years of experience within the FX/CFD or financial trading industry

  • Proven track record in building and scaling operations across APAC/Asia

  • Strong existing network across IBs, affiliates, and regional partners

  • Demonstrated success in driving deposits, trading volume, and revenue growth

  • Experience managing multi-country teams and regional structures

  • Entrepreneurial mindset with strong commercial acumen

  • Ability to operate both strategically and in a hands-on capacity.
