Job description

ISTA Personnel Solutions is a dynamic, fast-growing BPO company providing dedicated operational support to U.S.-based clients. We act as a direct extension of our clients’ teams, delivering high-quality service with precision and efficiency.

This role supports a U.S.-based healthcare technology company and is focused on researching, identifying, and engaging potential B2B leads. You will source prospects through web research and LinkedIn, and initiate outbound contact via email, phone, and LinkedIn messaging to build a strong client pipeline.

This is a research and outbound prospecting role, not a high-volume call centre position.

PLEASE NOTE:

  • Working Hours: Mon – Fri 09:00 am – 6:00 pm EST (15:00 pm - 00:00 am OR 16:00 pm - 01:00 am South African Time, depending on daylight savings in the USA)
  • Public Holidays: You will be required to work on both South African and U.S. public holidays. Compensation for South African public holidays will be provided in accordance with the BCEA.
  • Internet Requirements: Fixed fibre line with a minimum speed of 25 Mbps (upload & download), and support for a wired Ethernet connection is mandatory. Candidates without a fixed fibre line cannot be considered.
  • Power Backup: A reliable power backup solution is required to manage load shedding or outages. Candidates without backup cannot be considered.
  • Work Environment: Fully remote

Key Responsibilities:

  • Research and identify B2B prospects within the U.S. healthcare space
  • Conduct targeted outbound outreach via email, LinkedIn, and phone
  • Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified leads
  • Contribute to building and refining lead generation processes and workflows
  • Maintain accurate and organised records of leads and interactions
  • Collaborate with internal teams and client stakeholders to align outreach efforts

Requirements:

  • 1–2 years of experience in business development or lead generation
  • Excellent English communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Professional, polished, and confident communication style
  • Strong self-motivation and ability to work independently
  • Comfortable working in a less structured environment and proactively building processes
  • Basic computer skills (MS Office, Outlook)
  • Familiarity with LinkedIn and social media platforms

Nice to Have:

  • Experience targeting U.S.-based clients
  • Exposure to healthcare or SaaS environments
  • Previous LinkedIn outreach or prospecting experience
