We are a US company with presence in LATAM and experience in the area of near-shore outsourcing, technology, software development, education and digital transformation. We are currently looking for a SAP S/4 HANA ABAP Developer to join our team.
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled SAP S/4HANA ABAP Developer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in our SAP S/4HANA migration project from on-premises to the cloud. The successful candidate will leverage their extensive experience in ABAP development to contribute to the development, implementation, and optimization of SAP solutions in a cloud environment.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Review and understand customer requirements and specifications.
- Interpret business requirements and implement the necessary technology to fulfill them.
- Develop critical components of the solution, including security rules, infrastructure, custom adapter implementation, and application interfaces.
- Write increasingly complex code for single-threaded or event-driven applications, either stand-alone or those accessing servers or services.
- Develop code necessary to complete assigned projects within specified time frames and according to departmental standards.
- Lead and participate in code and design reviews to ensure quality.
- Design and ensure unit and integration testing is completed to ensure quality.
- Write, modify, and debug software for client applications.
- Support completed software throughout the Software Development Life Cycle and in production.
- Actively participate in the documentation of software requirements, functional design, flowcharts, and diagrams.
- Provide support for the build of RICEFW (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, and Workflows) items.
Required Skills:
- Minimum of 5 years in SAP/ ABAB developing
- 2+ years with a focus on SAP S/4HANA migration from on-premises to cloud.
- English level B2+ is mandatory
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent and 10+ years of SAP development experience.
- Demonstrated experience with SAP ECC 6.0 or higher, SAP S/4HANA, and other IT systems.
- Experience in any SAP S/4 HANA modules (PM, HCM, PP, PS, FI, CO, SD, IM etc.)
- Practical experience with various ABAP concepts and techniques, including Function Modules, Object-Oriented ABAP, BOR, User Exits, - - - Workflow, Enhancements, Reports, Dialog Programming, Webdynpro, LSMW, and SAP interfacing technologies.-
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA features such as Data Modeling, ABAP Development Tools (ADT), AMDP, CDS views, BOPF, OData services, - Native SQL, ABAP Core Data Services, and HANA Live models consumption.
- Experience in conversions in SAP S/4HANA using Data Migration Cockpit (LTMC).
- Expert troubleshooting, debugging, and problem analysis skills.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Nice to have:
- Knowledge of Agile methodology or related project waterfall methodologies.
- Knowledge of front-end Fiori development (HTML/CSS/JavaScript).
- Designing and implementing modern UI5 or Fiori-style front-end User Interfaces using SAP libraries and techniques.
- SAP certification is desirable but not necessary.
- Experience in S/4HANA implementation is preferred.
