Senior Program Manager - Technical Development

Job description

Job Description:

You’re the kind of person who…

Sees the big picture and the details. You enjoy bringing structure to complex technical work, aligning stakeholders, and helping teams do their best work together. You care about delivery, but you care just as much about how people collaborate to get there.

If that sounds like you, keep reading.

About Amplifi

Amplifi is dentsu’s partnership, investment, activation, and solutions arm—designed for the algorithmic era. We’re focused on delivering meaningful outcomes for clients by building high‑performing solutions, innovative growth models, and strong partnerships.

Within Amplifi, the Data, Technology & Measurement team drives product development, data capabilities, and analytics solutions that power our work across the organization.

The Role: What You’ll Do

As a Senior Program Manager – Technical Development, you’ll lead a portfolio of five concurrent technical development programs, guiding them from intake through delivery. You’ll work across engineering, product, data, activation, and client teams to keep everyone aligned, informed, and moving forward.

This role is part strategic, part hands‑on—and highly collaborative.

Program & Portfolio Leadership

  • You lead the end‑to‑end delivery of multiple technical programs, ensuring work is aligned to business goals and strategic priorities.
  • You translate business needs and technical requirements into clear roadmaps, milestones, and success metrics.
  • You proactively identify risks, dependencies, and resource needs—and help teams navigate them.

Cross‑Functional Collaboration

  • You partner closely with technical and non‑technical teams to align priorities and execution.
  • You serve as a connector, ensuring shared understanding across stakeholders.
  • You facilitate key forums such as sprint planning, program reviews, retrospectives, and executive readouts.

Culture & Team Enablement

  • You foster an environment where transparency, inclusion, and collaboration are the norm.
  • You encourage experimentation, continuous improvement, and thoughtful problem‑solving.
  • You lead by example, modeling clear communication, accountability, and respect.

Operational Excellence

  • You help evolve and standardize program management frameworks, tools, and best practices.
  • You track progress, outcomes, and impact—and communicate them clearly to stakeholders.
  • You support long‑term roadmap planning and capacity forecasting.

What Helps You Succeed in This Role

You don’t need to meet every requirement to apply. Many successful candidates grow into parts of the role.

  • You have 7+ years of experience managing programs or projects, ideally in technical or software development environments.
  • You’re experienced in managing multiple initiatives at once in fast‑moving, evolving settings.
  • You understand software development lifecycles and agile ways of working.
  • You communicate clearly and confidently with both technical and business audiences.
  • You’re familiar with collaboration and delivery tools like Jira and Confluence.
  • You value inclusion, curiosity, and teamwork—and bring that mindset to how you lead.
  • Experience in digital, media, marketing, or advertising environments is a plus.

Why You’ll Like Working Here

  • You’ll work on meaningful, visible initiatives with real impact.
  • You’ll collaborate with smart, supportive teammates across disciplines.
  • You’ll have room to influence how programs are run—not just execute them.
  • You’ll be part of a culture that values growth, flexibility, and new ideas.

We believe great work happens when people feel respected, supported, and empowered to bring their full selves to work. If you’re excited about this role—even if your experience doesn’t match every bullet—we’d love to hear from you.

Apply today and help shape how technical work gets done at Amplifi.
