Job description

INDICE is a software house based in Athens, Greece. Our team develops digital infrastructure for the enterprise and delivers large scale consumer facing applications. As a Software Quality Assurance Engineer at Indice you will be joining a team serving a large banking institution. You will participate in a multidisciplinary team tasked with developing and maintaining financial web and mobile applications. Your responsibilities include

Work with business analysts, product managers, and developers to understand digital banking requirements and translate them into test scenarios.
Develop and execute UAT test plans, test cases, and test scripts for digital banking applications
Identify, log, and track defects, ensuring timely resolution with development teams
Conduct regression testing after fixes or system updates.
Collaborate with stakeholders to obtain UAT sign-off and ensure readiness for production deployment.
Provide detailed test reports, including defect trends and recommendations for process improvements.

Remote collaboration is required for this role.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business or a related field.
3+ years in UAT testing, preferably within banking or financial services.
Familiarity with core banking, online banking, mobile banking, and payment systems.
Strong understanding of UAT methodologies and best practices.
Experience testing web applications, mobile banking apps, and API integrations.
Proficiency in test management tools (e.g., JIRA, HP ALM, TestRail).
Understanding of banking compliance standards (e.g., PSD2, GDPR, KYC, AML).
Excellent communication and documentation skills.
Ability to work in an Agile environment with cross-functional teams.
Experience with digital payments (e.g., SWIFT, SEPA, real-time payments).
Understanding of accessibility testing (WCAG compliance).
