We’re building a high-quality contractor network in Los Angeles County and looking for a driven, resourceful Sales Representative to help us scale vendor acquisition.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys outbound sales, building structured prospect lists, and turning cold outreach into real marketplace growth. You won’t just be making calls — you’ll help build the system that drives vendor expansion.
You're a natural communicator with a persuasive voice who excels at cold calling and building relationships with trade professionals. Your self-motivated, results-driven approach makes you comfortable working with lead data and productivity tracking tools in a dynamic startup environment. You bring strong sales instincts and the flexibility to adapt messaging while maintaining engaging, professional conversations.
What you'll do
- Identify and connect with high-quality contractors actively serving Los Angeles County
- Conduct outbound outreach via phone, email, and LinkedIn
- Build organized, segmented prospect lists by trade and service area
- Present and clearly communicate our marketplace value proposition
- Confidently handle objections related to competitors (Angi, Yelp, HomeAdvisor, Thumbtack, etc.)
- Qualify vendors based on location, licensing, and reputation standards
- Guide approved vendors through a fast and simple onboarding process
- Maintain accurate tracking in Google Sheets / CRM
- Provide structured weekly performance updates
