Role Overview:

Data Steward supporting a banking financial crime risk management data migration project. Focus on ensuring strong data governance, high data quality, and consistent metadata across domains. Works closely with IT and business teams to support data models, data warehousing concepts, and reliable data integration. Requires solid experience in SQL, data management, and enterprise IT systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support data migration within financial crime risk management domain
  • Perform data quality checks, monitoring, and root-cause analysis
  • Maintain metadata (definitions, rules, data lifecycle) and support data models
  • Ensure compliance with data governance standards
  • Apply data profiling techniques to improve data accuracy
  • Collaborate with IT and business teams on data integration and interoperability
  • Support data management improvements and initiatives
  • Use JIRA and Confluence for delivery and documentation

Must-Have Requirements:

  • 3+ years in data governance / data management
  • Experience in banking or financial crime risk management
  • Strong SQL skills
  • Knowledge of data warehousing and IT database structures
  • Experience with data profiling
  • Strong analytical and stakeholder management skills
  • Higher education (Preferred specializations: Economics, Business Management, Finance, IT)
