The Senior Application Analyst - Workday serves as a subject‑matter expert responsible for the design, configuration, integration, security, and ongoing support of the Workday platform. This role requires deep Workday integration experience alongside broad functional understanding of HCM, Financial Management, and Security. The analyst partners closely with business, HR, Finance, Payroll, and IT stakeholders to ensure a secure, scalable, and highly available Workday environment that aligns with organizational strategy and regulatory standards.

Workday Integrations & Architecture
Design, build, deploy, and support Workday integrations using Workday Studio, Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB), Core Connectors, Cloud Connect, and REST/SOAP APIs.
Support inbound and outbound integrations across HCM, Payroll, Financials, Benefits, Time Tracking, and third‑party vendors.
Troubleshoot integration failures, data discrepancies, and performance issues across environments.
Manage the integration lifecycle including documentation, testing, deployment, and release management.
Ensure integrations follow Workday‑recommended architecture and data governance standards.
Functional & Application Support
Provide advanced configuration, troubleshooting, and production support across Workday HCM, Financial Management, and Security Administration.
Partner with HR and Finance teams to translate business requirements into scalable, supportable Workday solutions.
Perform root cause analysis and resolve complex production issues in collaboration with Workday and third‑party vendors.
Security & Compliance
Design, configure, and support Workday security domains, business process frameworks, and role‑based access models.
Ensure compliance with applicable regulations such as SOX, HIPAA (where applicable), and data privacy standards.
Support audits by producing security documentation, reports, and evidence.
Implement least‑privilege access models and monitor security‑related changes.
Environment Management & Operations
Support Workday tenant management across Production, Sandbox, Preview, and Implementation environments.
Participate in Workday biannual updates, impact analysis, regression testing, and feature adoption.
Develop and maintain technical documentation, runbooks, and operational procedures.
Follow ITIL‑aligned incident, problem, and change management practices.
Continuous Improvement & Leadership
Act as a technical mentor to other analysts and consultants.
Evaluate new Workday features and recommend enhancements.
Participate in roadmap planning and digital transformation initiatives.
Support Agile and DevOps‑aligned delivery models.
Position Requirements
Experience & Skills
Minimum of 5+ years of experience supporting Workday in a production enterprise environment.
Demonstrated expertise building and supporting complex Workday integrations.
Strong functional knowledge of Workday HCM, Financial Management, and the Workday Security Framework.
Experience with Workday APIs (REST/SOAP) and XML/XSLT.
Proven ability to troubleshoot cross‑functional and cross‑system issues.
Familiarity with SaaS integration patterns and cloud security principles.

Familiarity with enterprise identity platforms such as Azure AD, SSO, and MFA
Education
Bachelor’s degree in information systems, Computer Science, Business, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
