Position Overview:
The Loss Mitigation Specialist is an important member of the Forensic Post Purchase Team, monitoring Notices of Findings and missing document requests from HUD, VA, investors, and bond agencies. This role ensures all regulatory notices and documentation issues are monitored, logged in the CCM mortgage servicing hub (AMPED), and routed to the correct team members. The Loss Mitigation Specialist obtains, forwards, and follows up on paperwork, coordinates note and mortgage corrections, and provides support across the team to maintain compliance and operational efficiency.
Job Responsibilities:
• Monitor Notices of Findings and requests for missing documentation issued by regulatory bodies, including HUD, VA, investors, and bond agencies.
• Log Notices of Findings and missing documentation from agencies and investors in the CCM mortgage servicing hub (AMPED), assigning tasks to the appropriate team members based on responsibilities and workflow protocols to ensure timely resolution.
• Obtain, forward, and follow up on Notices of Findings and missing documentation from agencies and investors to ensure timely resolution and compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate the review and correction of Note and Mortgage documents to ensure accuracy, compliance, and alignment with investor and agency requirements.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Skills:
• 2+ years of experience in post-purchase review, loss mitigation, or mortgage processing.
• Knowledge of HUD, VA, investor, and bond-agency documentation requirements and regulatory notices.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy when logging and tracking documentation.
• Excellent organization and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel).

Pay Range:
Hourly Rate: $24.04 - $31.25
The posted pay range considers a wide range of compensation factors, including candidate background, experience and work location, while also allowing for salary growth within the position.
