We’re looking for a VP of Marketing to own our full go-to-market narrative and growth engine as we scale from early traction (600K+ developers) to category leadership in voice AI
This is a builder role focused on creating a high-performance, developer-first marketing system that supports both PLG growth and enterprise pipeline
You will partner directly with the founders to define the category, sharpen positioning, and translate technical depth into market impact
30 Day:
Build a deep understanding of Vapi’s product, developer motion, and enterprise GTM strategy
Audit current marketing channels, growth loops, and attribution systems
Align with founders and GTM leadership on positioning, priorities, and success metrics
60 Day:
Establish marketing operating cadence (OKRs, pipeline reviews, reporting)
Refine positioning and messaging across developer and enterprise audiences
Begin scaling high-impact growth channels (content, SEO, developer engagement)
90 Day:
Launch a cohesive marketing engine spanning developer growth, product marketing, and demand generation
Implement clear attribution and resource allocation across channels
Deliver measurable impact on developer activation and enterprise pipeline generation
You’ve scaled a developer-first or infrastructure product from early traction to meaningful growth (e.g. $30M to $100M ARR or 100K to 1M+ users)
You understand both PLG and enterprise GTM motions and how to balance them effectively
Product marketing is your core strength. You can translate complex technical systems into compelling narratives
You operate at a VP/CMO level with strong ownership, judgment, and bias for action
You’ve worked in lean, high-growth environments and know how to prioritize ruthlessly
