Roles & Responsibilities

Bachelor's degree in business, project management, industrial engineering, or equivalent; Master's degree preferred.
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.
3+ years of project management experience with demonstrated success in process improvement (e.g., Six Sigma, LEAN, Kaizen) and experience in medical publishing, CME environment, or internet technologies.
Proficiency with G-Suite and Microsoft Office; experience with web-based project management tools (e.g., Workfront) and collaboration platforms (SharePoint Online, Tableau) is a plus.

Responsibilities:

This role will be responsible for:

Leading the operationalization of development processes to ensure smooth workflow and optimal efficiency
Managing development change requests, including intake, evaluation, and coordination with stakeholders
Working with leadership to prioritize development requests based on business needs, resource availability, and strategic alignment
Conducting root cause analyses on process breakdowns and developing corrective action plans
Leading product and process operationalization initiatives to ensure seamless implementation
Supporting the development and implementation of change management plans to support operational change and transitions
Designing and delivering training for product and process rollouts to ensure user adoption
Leading new product or process pilot projects from conception through evaluation
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to document processes and best practices
Supporting Content Ops Leadership in developing metrics and dashboards to monitor operational performance

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree specializing in business, project management, industrial engineering, or equivalent combination of education and experience required; Master's degree preferred
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred
Experience working with various Project Management methodologies, including waterfall, agile, scrum, etc
Experience with process improvement methodologies including Six Sigma, LEAN, Kaizen, or similar frameworks
Thorough understanding of project management techniques, methodologies, and tools
3 years directly related work experience (preferably in medical publishing, CME environment, or internet technologies)
3+ years' experience managing projects with demonstrated success in process improvement
Excellent computer skills that include working remotely on shared networks and cloud-based systems, and a high degree of proficiency using G-Suite (Gmail, Google Drive) and Microsoft Office suite required (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
Experience with web-based data and document sharing sites and authoring tools (SharePoint Online, ReadCube, Tableau) a plus
Experience with web-based project management tools (such as Workfront) required
Excellent communication (verbal and written) and team-building skills
