Job Overview: 

We are seeking a high-level, hands-on leader to serve as the Manager, SAP Solution Delivery. Reporting to the Director, SAP Delivery Solution Factory, you will be the lead "engine room" operator for our SAP delivery lifecycle. This role is a hybrid of hands-on technical execution and delivery management, focused on converting business requirements into scalable, near-zero-defect SAP solutions. You will play a critical role in our multi-year journey from a legacy ECC environment to a "Clean Core" S/4HANA Cloud model

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Solution Factory Execution: Lead the end-to-end delivery lifecycle for SAP enhancements, from technical design through deployment and hyper-care support.

  • Clean Core Advocacy: Drive the transition away from legacy custom code toward SAP Best Practices, ensuring all new deliveries are "S/4HANA Ready".

  • Capacity & Demand Alignment: Partner with the Director to maintain a clear labor capacity model, ensuring technical resources are assigned to high-priority business requests.

  • Technical Governance: Work closely with SAP Solution Architects to ensure delivery designs are maintainable, scalable, and business-ready.

  • Operational Excellence: Implement routines and automated processes that ensure stable support for business users while increasing overall speed-to-market.

  • Hands-on Mentorship: Foster a culture of "learning by doing" by providing architectural guidance and code/config reviews for the broader delivery team.

Minimum Qualifications:

Education Level :Bachelor’s or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, IT, Business, or a related field

Experience Requirements:

  • Strategic Delivery Leadership: 5–8 years of experience in IT delivery management, with a proven track record of managing end-to-end SAP project lifecycles.

  • Team Transformation: Demonstrated experience leading teams through organizational shifts or adopting new methodologies (e.g., moving from Waterfall to Agile/Scrum).

  • Operational Logic: Experience building and maintaining resource forecasting models and managing labor capacity against a fluctuating business demand.

  • Stakeholder Management: Exceptional ability to partner with business leads and BPOs to negotiate priorities and manage expectations.

  • Strategic SAP Knowledge: Core understanding of the SAP roadmap (ECC to S/4HANA) and the business value of a "Clean Core" architecture.

  • Vendor & Partner Management: Experience managing Managed Services (AMS) or System Integrator (SI) partners to ensure high-quality delivery.

  • Problem Solving & Mediation: Proven ability to resolve conflicts between business requirements and technical best practices.

  • Communication Mastery: Ability to translate complex SAP subjects into simple, business-relevant discussions for varying levels of the organization.

Specific skills: Delivery Governance, Resource Capacity Planning, Operational Excellence, Team Development, and Business-IT Alignment

The starting budgeted pay range for this role will generally fall between $156,900.00 - $184,600.00 per year. Scotts will consider various factors in determining the actual pay including your skills, qualifications, experience, and geographical location.In addition to the determined base salary, this role is also incentive eligible under our corporate bonus programs.For remote roles where the final candidate resides in Alaska, California, Colorado, Illinois, New York, Oregon or Washington, state required pay thresholds will be factored into base salary.
