Combining pragmatic technology and dedicated experts, IKS enables stronger, financially sustainable enterprises. Our Care Enablement Platform delivers data-driven value and expertise across the care journey, and IKS is a partner for clinician enterprises looking to effectively scale, improve quality, and achieve cost savings through forward-thinking solutions. Founded in 2006, IKS Health’s global workforce supports large health systems across the United States.

We are seeking an Implementation Lead to provide strategic oversight and hands-on leadership of complex product implementations across our revenue cycle management (RCM) portfolio. This role serves as the primary functional authority, translating stakeholder workflows and business objectives into scalable system solutions while leading client-facing design sessions and ensuring alignment across Product, RCM SMEs, PMO, technical  and offshore configuration teams.

The ideal candidate brings deep experience in healthcare IT implementations and RCM processes, with strong solution design capabilities and the ability to lead distributed teams in a fast-paced, outcome-driven environment. This role requires expertise in driving workflow alignment, managing delivery risk, and ensuring implementations achieve measurable improvements in revenue performance, operational efficiency, and client outcomes.

Core Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end solution design and functional delivery for product implementations, ensuring alignment between stakeholder workflows and system capabilities

Facilitate client-facing workshops and design sessions to define requirements, validate workflows, and drive decision-making

Translate RCM workflows and business objectives into detailed configuration designs, standards, and build specifications

Oversee and direct offshore configuration pods, managing backlog, priorities, and quality of execution

Partner cross-functionally with Product, RCM SMEs, PMO, and Engineering to ensure cohesive delivery and issue resolution

Ensure quality assurance across configuration, testing, and deployment, with accountability for final solution integrity

Identify and manage delivery risks, dependencies, and scope changes, ensuring on-time and on-budget execution

Drive value realization by aligning implementations to measurable RCM outcomes such as cash acceleration, denial reduction, and operational efficiency

Key Deliverables

Implementation Plan and Governance - Develop and maintain the end-to-end implementation plan, including scope, milestones, dependencies, risks, and stakeholder governance.

Future-State Solution Design - Produce clear, approved configuration plans aligned to stakeholder needs, product capabilities, and operational goals.

Configuration and Build Readiness - Ensure configuration specifications are complete, validated, and delivered to the build team accurately and on schedule.

Cross-Functional Team Coordination - Lead coordination across product, configuration, technical, SME, and client teams to drive execution and remove blockers.

Testing and Validation Completion - Oversee test readiness, defect resolution, and validation activities to confirm the solution performs as intended before go-live.

Client Readiness and Adoption - Deliver implementation readiness across training, process alignment, stakeholder engagement, and end-user preparation.

Go-Live and Stabilization Execution - Lead cutover planning, go-live execution, issue triage, and stabilization activities to support a successful production launch.

Turnover and Handoff Package - Complete project closure and transition to support, customer success, or operational owners with documentation, open items, and optimization priorities.

Success Metrics

Delivery of targeted RCM KPIs (e.g., cash acceleration, denial reduction, improved throughput) aligned to contractual or business goals

Percent of implementations delivered within planned timelines, budget, and scope with minimal variance

Low post-go-live defect rates and high first-pass build accuracy across configuration and testing

Strong CSAT/NPS scores reflecting confidence in solution design, delivery execution, and overall engagement

Increased use of repeatable solution patterns and configurations, reducing implementation cycle time and variability

Education Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field required

Master’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or a related field and/or advanced program leadership certification (PMP, PgMP, Lean, Six Sigma, or similar) preferred

Prior Work Experience

10–15+ years of experience in healthcare IT, EHR, or revenue cycle management (RCM) implementations

5+ years in a solution design, solution architecture, or implementation leadership role within complex, client-facing environments

Demonstrated experience leading end-to-end implementations of healthcare platforms (e.g., Cerner Millennium, Epic, or similar enterprise systems)

Proven track record translating clinical/RCM workflows into scalable system configurations and solutions

Experience managing cross-functional teams and offshore delivery models, including configuration, testing, and deployment resources

Strong background in one or more RCM domains: Patient Access/Referral/Scheduling (Front Office), Coding/CDI (Mid Cycle), or AR/Denials (Back Office)

Demonstrated success driving measurable client outcomes tied to financial performance, operational efficiency, and process improvement

Compensation and Benefits: The maximum annual salary range is $150,000 - $175,000 a year, determined by years of relevant experience, skills, and the specific geographical location where the work is performed. Pay is based on several factors, including but not limited to current market conditions, location, education, work experience, certifications, etc.  IKS Health offers a competitive benefits package including healthcare, 401 (k), and paid time off (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements for full-time employees).  IKS Health is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate based on race, national origin, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, protected veteran status, disability, age, or other legally protected status
