About This Role
Experienced Account Management professional, overseeing and participating in various Account Management and customer relationship management processes. Responsible for representing the company's interests and building business relationships to enhance account management performance.
Key Responsibilities
Own and drive national retail account programs by developing, executing, and managing sales and marketing strategies that deliver profitable growth aligned to Carrier’s National Account objectives.
Lead end‑to‑end program and project management, including setup, design, scheduling, vendor oversight, change management, and ensuring all milestones, audits, and deliverables are met on time.
Build and strengthen strategic partnerships with national retail customers, distributors, dealers, and third‑party vendors to expand existing business and unlock new growth opportunities.
Track, analyze, and report program performance by establishing KPIs, SLAs, and financial metrics, and presenting clear trend and performance updates to executive leadership.
Collaborate cross‑functionally with sales, marketing, finance, and operations to manage rebates/accruals, ensure contractual compliance, and align stakeholders on program goals and outcomes.
Role Purpose

Serve as the single point of accountability for end‑to‑end program success
Align internal cross‑functional teams and external partners
Drive disciplined, data‑driven decision making
Drive data analytics and digital enhancements, delivering effective tracking and reporting solutions for internal and external customers
Act as a primary contact to identify prospective for account management teams and develops a professional relationship to understand the customer needs and suggest products and/or services that meet the customer needs.
Conducts business development activities for account management teams within defined customer segment to support the business strategy.
Leads bid opportunities, participates in the preparation of bid responses and negotiation with potential customers.
Developing and promotes new customer contact leads for the sales business development team.
Proactively supports and develops prospective projects with assigned customers and presents to sales business development team.
Develop personal customer relationships with prospective accounts to influence opportunities. Develop customer presentations for specific customer needs
Basic Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED
3+ Years of Experience with National Account Management
2+ Years of Sales Experience
Ability to Travel 30% of the time Domestically
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or other related disciplines.
5+ Years of HVAC industry experience
Retail National Account Management Experience
A self-starter and can take full ownership of National Accounts
Experience leading cross-functional, multi-business-unit teams to solve complex customer challenges
Proven ability to influence and collaborate effectively across all organizational levels
Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Pay Range
The annual salary for this position is between $96,000.00 - $192,000.00 annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range include, but are not limited to, skills, education, experience, and other unique qualifications of the successful candidate.Other Compensation
This position is entitled to short-term cash incentives, subject to plan requirements.Benefits
