Contract Practitioner – Microsoft Intune Fundamentals at Nectar Inc

Role Overview

Alchemy is seeking a qualified Practitioner with applied, real-world experience in Microsoft Intune Fundamentals to participate in a skills assessment validation engagement. This is a short-term, contract, remote engagement in which the Practitioner will complete a practitioner-level skills assessment and a brief post-assessment survey. This role does not involve teaching, instructional design, content creation, or ongoing advisory responsibilities.

Estimated Time to Completion: Approximately 1–2 hours

Assessment Window: Work must be completed within a defined access window (typically 5 business days once access is granted)

Scope of Work

Complete a practitioner-level skills assessment used for validation and standard-setting purposes.

Complete a short post-assessment survey providing feedback on the assessment experience.

This role does not include:

• Teaching or facilitation responsibilities

• Instructional or curriculum design work

• Content authoring or SME review of materials

• Ongoing advisory or consulting responsibilities

Required Expertise

The Practitioner should be a current practitioner with applied, real-world experience related to the following knowledge areas and skills:

• Create and configure a lab tenant with Azure AD and Intune subscription

• Understand the Microsoft Intune Product Family and licensing

• Enroll Windows devices into Microsoft Intune using multiple methods

• Enroll Windows Devices with Windows Autopilot including Hardware Hash collection

• Configure and enable the Enrollment Status Page and Company Portal

• Create and manage configuration profiles with Administrative Templates and Custom Settings

• Deploy certificates to devices using SCEP, Root CA, and Intune Certificate Connector

• Deploy Apps to Windows Devices including Win32, Microsoft Store, LOB, and Microsoft 365 Apps

• Configure and Protect Windows Apps with App Protection Policies

• Configure Compliance rules and Conditional Access Policies

• Update and Protect Devices with Security Baselines, Endpoint Protection, and Device Encryption

• Configure Windows Hello for Business and understand Passwordless sign-in

• Support Windows devices with reporting, diagnostics, and Endpoint Analytics

• Retire Windows devices including Device Wipe and various Device Actions

• Enroll and manage iOS devices including Automated Device Enrollment and Apple Configurator

• Enroll and manage Android devices including Fully Managed and Work Profile enrollments

• Protect iOS and Android devices with Compliance Policies and App Protection Policies

• Deploy Required and Optional Apps to iOS and Android Devices

• Configure iOS Update Profiles and Android Enterprise integration

Ideal Candidate Profile

Active practitioner with hands-on experience in Microsoft Intune Fundamentals or closely related domains.

Practical, working knowledge of how the concepts listed above are applied in real professional settings.

Does not need to be an academic researcher or industry thought leader — applied experience is what matters.

Minimum Performance Expectation

Participants must demonstrate baseline practitioner competency by scoring above 50% on the assessment. This threshold is used solely to ensure valid practitioner-level participation and is not used for hiring, ranking, or performance evaluation.

Deliverables

Completed skills assessment within the defined access window.

Completed post-assessment survey.

Compensation

This is a flat-fee engagement, paid upon successful completion of the assessment and survey.
