Entrepreneur in Residence - CRS

Job description

About Us:

CRS is a leading player in the regulated data industry, with a specific focus on enabling access to consumer and business credit. We are looking for an Entrepreneur in Residence to support the Founder/CTO, Ali Jelveh, across a wide range of projects.

The Role:

Are you a builder? 👷 Do you love diving into new challenges, teaching yourself what you need to know, and getting things done? Then this unique opportunity might be for you.

We are looking for an Entrepreneur in Residence to work directly with the CTO/Co-Founder, a serial entrepreneur with a diverse portfolio of companies and projects. This isn't a typical "out-of-the-box" role—it's a reflection of our founder's multifaceted professional life. You'll work on everything from a successful data and SaaS business to new AI startups, real estate investments, and other ventures.

This is a two-year engagement, designed to be a career accelerator for someone with an entrepreneurial spirit. You'll gain unparalleled exposure to the inner workings of multiple businesses and leaders, learning by doing. We are looking for someone who sees themselves as a future Founder and wants to learn from a highly successful Founder and Executive.

What You’ll Do

This is a role for a high-velocity creator. You won’t just be managing projects; you will be inventing, building, and launching them. You will take the raw spark of an idea—whether it’s a fintech credit solution or an AI-driven intent engine—and turn it into a living product with a real user base.

Your mission is to bridge the gap between concept and market by executing the following:

  • Full-Cycle Product Incubation: Identify core problems and architect solutions from scratch. You will take existing products like Remynd (AI user intent capture) or our fintech CRS offerings and adapt, iterate, or build entirely new ecosystems around them.

  • Rapid Digital Presence & Growth: Build high-converting landing pages and design/deploy ad campaigns. You are responsible for the Growth Stack; from the first pixel on the site to the first 100+ sign-ups.

  • AI Pipeline Engineering: Leverage modern AI/LLM workflows to build marketing funnels, automate design, and develop technical pipelines that allow us to scale faster than a traditional team.

  • Community Architecture: Don’t just find users—build a home for them. You will create, interact with, and engage communities to foster organic growth and product loyalty.

  • Experimental Hackathon Execution: Lead gamified experiments, such as credit-building experiences for young adults, to productize ideas quickly and test market viability.

  • Deployment of Resources: You will be trusted with marketing budgets (e.g., $1k sprints) to prove your models, drive traffic, and hit specific conversion milestones.

Who You Are

You are someone who feels restless if you aren’t building something. You likely have a folder full of domain names and a history of side projects that actually made it live.

  • A 0 - 1 Builder: You have a proven track record of taking an idea and turning it into a tangible deliverable (a website, an MVP, or a high-fidelity mockup) without needing a roadmap.

  • AI-Native: You don't just use ChatGPT for emails; you have integrated AI into your workflow. You use tools like Cursor or LLM pipelines to build websites, automate design, and solve complex technical hurdles.

  • Growth-Obsessed: You understand that a great product is invisible without a crowd. You know how to spend a marketing budget effectively, run ads, and obsess over the conversion data until you hit your target.

  • Highly Autonomous & Resourceful: You thrive in the unrestricted hackathon environment. You can pick a problem, generate a solution, and execute the go-to-market strategy with minimal hand-holding.

  • Intellectually Curious & Adaptable: Whether you are diving into the nuances of a fintech CRS product or exploring the frontiers of AI-user interaction, you learn at 10x speed and apply that knowledge immediately.

  • Bias for Action: You’d rather launch a V1 today than a perfect version next month. You are driven by outcomes, sign-ups, and real-world feedback.

Logistics & Compensation

  • Location: Remote, with a preference for time zones in the Americas (Eastern, Central, Mountain, Pacific).

  • Travel: You must be willing to travel to the Bay Area at least once a quarter, and possibly as often as once a month for a week at a time. All travel expenses will be covered.

  • Compensation: The salary range is between $70,000 and $100,000, based on experience and demonstrated capability.
