Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, or Engineering or a 2-year technical degree in Fluid Power (preferred)
3+ years of industrial sales experience with a track record of meeting/exceeding sales targets (value-add sales strongly preferred)
2+ years in Fluid Power sales; knowledge of Automation or Motion Control a plus
Strong communication, planning, and negotiation skills; self-motivated, organized, and competitive; valid driver’s license; willingness to travel overnight
Requirements:
Drive sales growth by meeting/exceeding annual sales and gross profit goals; win new business by prospecting and converting OEM, Capital Project, and MRO customers; develop target accounts for long-term growth
Understand customer needs with detailed assessments and develop tailored fluid power solutions; deliver compelling proposals, presentations, and quotations; negotiate deals to maximize value
Ensure customer satisfaction with responsive, on-time, and error-free service; collaborate with internal technical and service resources; utilize CRM tools to track metrics and report progress
Participate in continuous improvement via weekly accountability meetings and SunSource University training; maintain consistent CRM activity and call cadence; support cross-unit collaboration
