Job Description:

Associate Creative Producer, Brand Creative 

Job Disclosures:

Location: (On-Site) Santa Fe, NM strongly preferred. Candidates may work remotely provided they live in one of the following markets: Las Vegas NV, Denver CO, Dallas TX, Houston TX, Los Angeles CA or New York City NY.

Compensation: The base salary range for this position is $65,600 - $88,560. Compensation may vary based on location and experience.

Deadline: The deadline to submit applications for this position is April 30, 2026. Meow Wolf reserves the right to extend this deadline if necessary.

Job Summary:

The Associate Creative Producer is the Creative team member responsible for achieving and maintaining the artistic and creative vision and for ensuring the implementation of that vision through the project life cycle of key Brand Creative initiatives, large and small. 

Managing the execution of all creative deliverables and working closely with and collaborating with the other project leads (CD, Design Lead, Producers) to achieve common and cohesive objectives. The Associate Producer acts as the day-to-day manager of the creative team on assigned projects, supervising the workloads of any assigned staff, vendors, collaborating artists, and consultants, and determining strategies to ensure the successful completion of all deliverables. 

The Associate Producer must be proficient in guiding and articulating the concepts and the experiences that define the project's creative vision, and must motivate the involved teams who are responsible for providing input and support to its development. They must be steadfast and strategic as they work within Meow Wolf’s highly ambitious, collaborative model.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define the scope of creative deliverables, adhering to the scope, schedule, and budget defined by the Project Leadership

  • Develop and manage resource plans, estimates, and schedules for creative deliverables in collaboration with the project leads  and key  stakeholders

  • Effectively sets and manages creative budgets and schedules throughout the whole scope of the project

  • Collaborate with team leadership to prioritize the creative scope of the project and creative delivery options

  • Communicate clear and concise project creative updates to all project team members and stakeholders

  • Maintains presentation and communication materials

  • Hires and manages outside creative consultants as required by the needs of the Creative Director and/or Design Lead and with oversight from the Snr Production Manager. Writes scopes of work, including exhibits, and clearly defines deliverables for creative consultants, then works with procurement to contract for their services

Required Qualifications:

  • BA or BS in theater, film, design, or an entertainment and art-oriented field preferred, or equivalent work experience

  • Thorough knowledge of the creative process and deliverables

  • Excellent interpersonal skills, written and oral communication skills, organizational, and creative thinking.

  • Excellent understanding of Location-Based / Themed Entertainment industries and their production pipelines

  • A proven leader who can pull together artistic and creative professionals from many walks of life and focus them on a set of shared goals and deliverables. Cross-functional leadership experience required. 

  • Experience with temporary and pop-up brand activations and experiences

  • Excellent interpersonal skills, organizational, and creative thinking. Strong soft skills. 

  • Comfort with ambiguity.  Ability to create and manage processes

  • Thorough knowledge of the creative process and deliverables

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, which can successfully work across multiple departments and divisions to advance our artistic and storytelling initiatives in new and exciting ways.

  • Effectively articulate creative intent and artistic vision to all levels of the Meow Wolf organization

  • Develop strong partnerships across all divisions of the project departments

Work Environment and Physical Demands 

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed must be representative of the knowledge, skills, minimum education, training, licensure, experience, and/or ability required.  

Work Environment:

The Associate Producer, Brand Creative works primarily in a collaborative office or studio environment and regularly partners with creative, marketing, production, and cross-functional teams. This role may also require time spent in production environments such as event sites, installation spaces, filming locations, or other creative workspaces. The position may involve occasional travel to support brand activations, content creation, exhibitions, or company events. Work is typically performed during regular business hours, though occasional evening or weekend work may be required to meet production timelines or event schedules.

Physical Demands:

The physical demands of this role are generally light and consistent with a professional office environment. The position requires extended periods of sitting and working at a computer, participating in meetings, and reviewing creative materials. The role may also involve standing or walking for periods of time during production activities, site visits, or events. The employee may occasionally be required to lift, carry, or move materials weighing up to approximately 25 pounds and navigate active production or event environments. Clear communication abilities, both verbal and written, are required to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external partners.

The employee will comply with company and OSHA standard workplace safety protocols. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. 

Work Schedule:

This is a full-time position averaging 40 hours a week, Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5 pm MT or 10 am to 6 pm MST  – occasionally requiring flexibility to work during evenings or weekends based on business needs, as well as travel to off-site locations depending on the role and need. 

Supervisor Responsibilities:

This position does not require supervisory responsibility.

Travel:

This position will require some travel (10%-25%)
