The Director, interSYNC Program Management is a Front-Line business leader accountable for the execution, governance, and day-to-day operational delivery of interSYNC operating and risk management programs, including the SBLOC program.This role ensures that complex business activities are executed consistently and aligned with enterprise standards, regulatory expectations, and contractual obligations by embedding required controls directly into business processes.As the primary operational owner, the Director oversees ongoing monitoring routines, produces meaningful operational and risk transparency, and leads issue identification, escalation, and remediation to support safe and compliant program delivery.The Director is accountable for SBLOC program execution, including collateral monitoring, issue management, remediation, and daily, weekly, and monthly operational and management reporting.The Director engages regularly with senior business leadership, as well as interSYNC teams, Credit, FLCO, Enterprise Risk, and Audit partners, representing the front line perspective on execution, control performance, and operational health.The Director serves as the front-line business owner for third party audit requests from banks and brokers. This includes leading recurring monthly validations and confirmations of client balances, bank or customer rates, and daily reconciliation of any omnibus and client-level activity.The Director provides AML-required documentation to Broker-Dealer and Bank partners in support of regulatory and contractual requirements.The Director interfaces with the High-Risk group to support new client account vetting and approvals by providing required business information and documentation.What you will do
Business Program Ownership & Execution
Own and execute interSYNC business programs, including the SBLOC Management Program
Design, implement, and maintain business processes that translate regulatory, contractual, and enterprise requirements into executable and sustainable operating practices.
Partner with FLCO and Second Line of Defense (2LOD) and FLCO to operationalize enterprise standards within front-line business processes, while maintaining clear ownership of execution.
Ensure program requirements are executed consistently across daily operations, including SBLOC collateral monitoring and ongoing program execution.
Control Execution, Monitoring & Issue Management
Support FLCO-led RCSAs by acting as the business process owner and identifying risks inherent in interSYNC operations
Own the execution of controls embedded in business processes
Provide process documentation, metrics, and execution evidence to support enterprise RCSA programs
Partner with FLCO, Enterprise Risk, and Audit by providing transparency into operational processes, control performance, and issue status.
Serve as the front line business contact for RCSA related documentation and evidence
Embed required controls directly into front line business processes.
Execute ongoing operational monitoring and control checks; track and remediate identified issues
Ensure operational processes, reporting, and evidence are accurate, complete, documented, and retained in accordance with internal and regulatory requirements.
Operations, Reconciliation & External Validation
Serve as the front-line business owner for third-party audits, validations, and KYC-related requests, including recurring monthly confirmations of balances, rates, and transaction activity.
Third Party Risk Management – support incoming requests from Brokers, Banks, and other third parties for annual audit and KYC reviews as the front line business owner
Skills and Abilities
Understanding of governance, change management, banking regulations, risk management frameworks, andinternal control standards, with the ability to apply them within front-line operations.
Demonstrated ability to execute business processes with embedded risk controls
Working knowledge of credit underwriting principles and credit policy
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain operational processes, risk concepts, and issue status to diverse audiences, including senior leadership and external stakeholders
Strong execution mindset with demonstrated ability to lead through influence.
Proven execution and leadership in a dynamic environment with competing priorities
Detail oriented with strong project and process management capabilities
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Extreme attention to detail
Proficient in Microsoft tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, Lucid Charts) and other relevant software
Knowledge of operational risk, regulatory expectations, and bank best practices is a plus
Experience managing operational metrics, issue tracking, and remediation within a front-line business environment is highly desirable
Education Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Arts/Sciences (BA/BS) required
Experience Qualifications
3-4 years 3+ years of experience in Credit Risk, Loan Review, Risk Management or Audit functions, within the banking or financial services industry required
0-2 years CPA, CISA, CIA, or other auditing or risk management certification preferred preferred
Licenses and Certifications
Auditing or Risk Management certification preferred within 1 year preferred
The estimated salary range for this position is $120,000.00 to $125,000.00 USD annually. Actual salary may vary up or down depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position is eligible for incentive compensation.
