We're in search of a skilled Senior Backend Engineer to join our team. As a Senior Backend Engineer, you'll be pivotal in developing and maintaining our core systems, ensuring they're scalable, reliable, and secure. You’ll get to collaborate with cross-functional teams as you'll be instrumental in designing and implementing backend solutions that are essential to our success.

Your day-to-day

• Develop, maintain, and scale backend systems.
• Conduct thorough code reviews, providing constructive feedback to team members.
• Write high-quality code adhering to best practices and coding standards.
• Enhance system performance and reliability through efficient architecture and code optimization.
• Work closely with frontend developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver technical solutions.
• Identify and address technical debt, code vulnerabilities, and performance bottlenecks.
• Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation and continuous improvement.

Requirements:

• 4+ years of backend development experience, with a focus on fintech or financial services is a plus.
• Proficiency in one or more backend programming languages primarily Go.
• Strong grasp of relational and NoSQL databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
• Experience with Microservices architecture.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud (AWS is a plus).
• Exceptional problem-solving skills and keen attention to detail.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, agile environment.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
