  • Advise clients on industry standards and best practices in Workday Integrations; communicate about Workday Studio, APIs, Connectors, and future integration functionality; demonstrate design options through prototypes.
  • Build strong client relationships, mentor junior team members on Workday best practices, and guide customers through their integration landscape.

ERPA is seeking a talented Workday Extend Architect who is passionate about helping Workday clients connect, extend, and quantify their software investment. 

As a Workday Extend Architect, you will be the strategic technical lead responsible for designing, developing, and governing custom applications on the Workday Extend platform. You will bridge the gap between complex business requirements and technical blueprints, ensuring that custom solutions - integrate seamlessly with core Workday modules like HCM, Finance, Payroll and Student. 

ERPA’s Integration Architect will be responsible for building Workday Integrations, guiding clients through their Integration landscape, and mentoring junior team members on Workday best practices. 

As a key member of our team, you will drive innovation by building custom Workday Extend applications that bridge the gap between standard functionality and unique business needs. You will utilize tools like App Builder and Orchestrations to create intuitive, native-feeling solutions that enhance user productivity. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Member of a Workday Integrations Team dedicated to serving Workday production customers. 

  • Lead the end-to-end design of scalable and secure applications. 

  • Design, build, and deploy custom applications using Workday Extend to solve unique business challenges, utilizing App Builder and Orchestrations to create seamless user experiences that sit natively within the Workday tenant. 

  • Be a Workday Integration wizard with deep understanding of current functionality, design concepts, touch points with HCM, Compensation, Payroll, Benefits, Financials, Talent, Prism, and future product direction. 

  • Share your Workday Integrations expertise with our customers and speak to Workday Studio, Workday APIs, Workday Connectors, and future Integration specific functionality. 

  • Advise clients on industry standards and leading practices in Workday Integration design and development. 

  • Demonstrate design options in Workday by creating quick prototypes. 

  • Build strong relationships with clients, gained through trust and exceptional customer service 

Experience and Education Requirements: 

  • Minimum of three years of experience as a Workday Extend Architect at a partner firm is required 

  • Workday Partner Integration, Orcherate and Extend certification are required and must remain in active status throughout employment with ERPA 

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required, along with a detailed understanding of Workday Integrations processes and best practices to make appropriate implementation recommendations. 

  • Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as in a team environment, coupled with a desire to have fun while building something new (required) 

  • The company delivers most projects remotely, and this is a remote role. We expect travel to be about 25%, but we’ll continue to monitor this area and adapt as needed.
