Role: GoLang Developer
Location: Remote, Portugal
Required Skills:
- 5+ years in designing, developing, and maintaining a Golang based backend managing large scale device fleets.
- Build and evolve distributed, microservices based architectures deployed on Kubernetes (K8s).
- Configure and manage networking features through backend APIs, including: OSPF routing, Virtual Tunnel Interfaces (VTI), IPsec VPNs
- Implement secure, token based authentication and communication between backend and devices (JWT, OAuth2, mTLS).
- Process SNMP traps for real time monitoring, alerting, and device observability.
- Handle high throughput asynchronous events using Kafka or RabbitMQ.
- Ensure high availability, fault tolerance, scalability, and resilience of backend services.
- Optimize network traffic handling, logging, and monitoring using Prometheus, Grafana, and/or ELK stack.
- Implement automated provisioning and configuration management for gateway devices.
- Collaborate closely with DevOps teams on infrastructure automation, including Helm charts and Kubernetes manifests.
- Develop Python based performance and monitoring tools for backend and device communication analysis.
- Design and execute large scale load and performance tests using Locust, simulating thousands of devices and concurrent users.
- Integrate performance and load testing into CI/CD pipelines for continuous validation.
- Contribute to AI powered reporting and analytics, supporting intelligent analysis of performance metrics and system behavior.
