Job Overview
The Senior Manager, Finance – Commercial & Strategy serves as a senior finance business partner to Commercial, Strategy, and M&A functional leadership within the AD&M Business Unit. This role is responsible for delivering financial insight, strategic analysis, and performance management to support revenue growth, margin expansion, and long-term value creation. The position plays a critical role in supporting customer-facing, commercial, and strategic initiatives while advancing financial rigor across the organization.

Job Requirements
Strategic & Commercial Finance Leadership
- Partner with VP-level Commercial and Strategy leaders to provide actionable financial insights that drive growth and profitability.
- Identify financial risks and opportunities impacting revenue, margin, and working capital.
- Lead commercial performance management and ensure alignment to business objectives and targets.
- Develop driver-based financial models supporting pricing, customer profitability, investment decisions, and scenario analysis.
- Support annual operating plans and long-range strategic planning.
- Establish and govern KPIs for Commercial and Business Development teams with drill-downs by region, market, customer, and sales territory.
- Provide financial guidance on pricing, new product introductions (NPI), capital projects, and return-on-investment assessments.
- Review customer contracts, including payment terms and Incoterms.
Performance Management & Financial Governance
- Drive budget ownership, variance analysis, and corrective action planning across commercial and strategy functions.
- Improve forecast accuracy and reinforce accountability and continuous improvement culture.
- Oversee working capital performance with focus on accounts receivable and past-due exposure.
- Ensure GAAP compliance, strong internal controls, and ethical financial practices.
- Increase financial acumen across non-finance teams through transparent reporting and education.
M&A and Strategic Initiatives
- Support M&A activity through target evaluation, valuation modeling, and investment analysis.
- Partner with Corporate M&A and Strategy teams on deal execution and integration planning.
Leadership, Talent & Automation
- Lead, develop, and mentor a team of direct and indirect finance professionals.
- Build a strong finance talent pipeline and promote leadership development.
- Drive automation, analytics, and dashboarding using SAP and enterprise data tools.
- Champion process improvement and digital enablement initiatives.
What your background should look like
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field (required).
- MBA, CPA, or CFA preferred.
- 10+ years of progressive finance experience in manufacturing or industrial environments.
- Minimum 5 years of leadership or people management experience.
- Strong experience partnering with Sales, Product Management, and global teams.
- Proficiency in SAP, financial modeling, analytics, and automation tools.
- International experience preferred.

COMPENSATION
• Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $152,400 - 180K (subject to change dependent on physical location)
• Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
• Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
