Position Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented intern to support process data compilation, organization, and trending activities for our vaccine manufacturing process. This role will focus on extracting data from manufacturing or development documentation, organizing it into analysis-ready datasets, and helping compile supporting information needed for process reviews and trend analysis. The intern will work closely with technical team members to improve data consistency, reduce manual data-handling time, and support process analysis in JMP Statistical Software. Candidates with coding experience will have opportunities to help automate recurring data pulls, build scripts for routine compilation of trend datasets, and support development of JMP scripts for repeatable analyses.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Extract, clean, and organize process data from manufacturing and development data, batch records, raw files, and related documentation
  • Compile and reconcile data from multiple sources into structured datasets for process monitoring, technical reviews, and trend analysis
  • Support the collection and organization of batch record information, including critical process parameters, in-process results, and other manufacturing or development data
  • Maintain clear data files, trackers, and documentation to ensure traceability, accuracy, and version control
  • Partner with technical team members to clarify data needs, definitions, and priorities
  • Perform routine data quality checks and identify missing, inconsistent, or unusual values for follow-up
  • Prepare datasets for analysis in JMP and, where possible, support development of scripts to automate recurring data pulls, compilation workflows, and JMP analyses
  • Support cross-functional CMC team members with additional data analysis as requested

Requirements
  • Current full-time college student pursuing a degree in engineering, data science, chemistry, biology, bioprocessing, statistics, or a related technical field.
  • Strong attention to detail and comfort working with large amounts of structured and semi-structured data from records and raw files.
  • Experience with Excel and PowerPoint; ability to work carefully across batch records, raw files, and slide-based data sources.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Effective communication skills and ability to summarize and present data clearly to technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment; familiarity with manufacturing, laboratory, or GMP/GxP documentation is a plus
  • Preferred: exposure to JMP, statistical analysis, scripting, or data automation tools such as Python, R, VBA, or similar.
  • Available to work between 15-20 hours per week during the Summer Semester

Other:

• Subject to a criminal background investigation

• If selected as final candidate, you must provide an Enrollment verification letter
