Description

The Opportunity

BrandPoint Services is an Inc. 5000 fastest-growing company, and we’re looking for a strategic,

high-performing Director of Business Development to spearhead our Special Projects &

Remodels division.

While others focus on fixing leaks, you will focus on transforming spaces. Your mission is to

partner with national brands to execute large-scale painting initiatives, flooring rollouts

(carpet/LVT), and interior/exterior remodel programs across hundreds of locations

simultaneously. In this role, you act as the crucial bridge between a client’s vision for their brand

and our operational ability to execute it with precision.

How You’ll Make an Impact

 - Drive High-Value Revenue: Identify and close enterprise-level, $1M+ contracts

specifically for multi-site painting, flooring, and interior refresh projects.

 - Vertical Expansion: Target key decision-makers in Retail, Hospitality, Healthcare, and

Commercial Real Estate who oversee Capital Expenditures (CapEx) and brand-standard

updates.

 - Consultative Selling: Analyze client portfolios to recommend lifecycle-based refresh

programs (e.g., "The 5-Year Paint Cycle") that protect their assets and enhance the

customer experience.

 - Scale the Pipeline: Build and maintain a robust pipeline of "rollout"

opportunities—complex projects that involve 50 to 1,000+ sites across North America.

 - Scope & Estimating Collaboration: Work closely with our estimating team to provide

accurate bids on complex finishes, ensuring all logistical nuances (like metro surcharges

and trio fees) are clearly communicated and justified by value.

 - Strategic Networking: Serve as the face of BrandPoint at major trade shows (SPECS,

Connex, IFMA), positioning us as the premier partner for "high-polish" trades.

Who You Are

 - The "Hunter": You have a proven track record of winning $1M+ contracts in the

facilities, commercial real estate, or construction industries.

 - Fluent in "Project": You speak the language of General Contractors and Facility

Directors. You intimately understand lead times, crew scheduling, and the importance of

a flawless "Punch List."

 - The Long-Game Strategist: You have the relationship-building skills and persistence

required to navigate the long sales cycles (6–18 months) typical of large-scale remodel

rollouts.

 - Technically Proficient: You know your way around CRM tools (Salesforce/HubSpot),

and the ability to read floor plans or architectural drawings is a major plus.

 - A Road Warrior: You are ready and able to travel up to 50% to walk sites with clients,

finalize project scopes, and close major deals.

Trade-Specific Expertise You Bring

 - Commercial Painting: Deep knowledge of substrates, coating types, and the logistics

of painting occupied spaces without disrupting client operations.

 - Flooring & Carpeting: Familiarity with LVT, broadloom, and carpet tile rollouts, including

the complexities of moisture mitigation and furniture moving logistics.

 - Light Remodels: A strong understanding of "refresh and reboot" scopes, including

fixture installations, wall coverings, and minor carpentry.

Why Join BrandPoint?

 - Executive Compensation: A competitive base salary coupled with an aggressive,

uncapped commission structure specifically tailored for high-ticket project wins.

 - Values-Driven Culture: We live by our core values: Integrity, Improve, Perform, Grow,

and Serve. We aren't just a vendor; we are an extension of our clients' teams.

 - Comprehensive Benefits: A full benefits package (Medical, 401k, etc.) within a

supportive, fast-paced environment where "Performance" is rewarded and "Growth" is

a daily goal.

Functional Skills

 - Mathematical Concepts: Ability to calculate profit margins, ratios, and ROI projections

for prospective client proposals.

 - Reasoning Ability: Must be a strategic problem-solver who can navigate complex

contracts and variables in situations where standard procedures may not apply.

 - Language Skills: Ability to write professional correspondence and technical proposals;

must be able to speak effectively and persuasively in front of large groups.
