Have you ever wanted a job where you get to meet great people, laugh a lot, listen to great music, and change the world? At U.S. Hunger, we’re building a team of part-time employees to help lead and coordinate meal packing events that have already provided over 190 million meals to communities across the country. This is a flexible, event-based position — you’ll have the opportunity to sign up for events that fit your schedule. However, when you commit to an event, you must be available to attend and work in person. While the role offers remote-style flexibility, it is not a work-from-home position. You must be based in Central Florida area. As we frequently hold events in that region and need a local team ready to facilitate them and fly out of the (MCO) Orlando International Airport as needed for events. All travel expenses are covered, and you’ll earn $20/hour. Training is required and includes:

As an Event Lead, you will oversee the execution and volunteer management of our Hunger Projects with various corporations, schools, congregations, and organizations across the United States. Serving as the point of contact on the day of the event, the Event Lead is responsible for ensuring a successful, engaging, and impactful event for our partners and volunteers. Day to day, you will have the opportunity to travel to and lead our volunteer events varying in size and scope. The person in this role has oversight of event set up, load-in and load-out, event logistics, manages on-site event staff, and ensures our events are following schedule.
