Why we need you?

We are seeking an experienced Functional SAP Solution Architect – S/4HANA Public Cloud to lead end-to-end functional solution architecture across global SAP implementations. In this role, you will serve as the functional authority for S/4HANA Public Cloud delivery, ensuring alignment with SAP Best Practices, Fit-to-Standard methodology, and Clean Core principles.

You will guide cross-functional teams across Finance, Logistics, and integration workstreams while acting as the primary interface between business stakeholders, project leadership, and delivery teams. Your expertise will help ensure scalable, standardized, and business-aligned SAP solutions across implementation and post–go-live stabilization phases.

What will you be doing?

• Lead overall functional solution architecture for SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud implementations.
• Define end-to-end business process designs aligned with SAP Best Practices and Fit-to-Standard principles.
• Provide architectural oversight across Finance (FI/CO), Order-to-Cash (SD), and Procure-to-Pay (MM) processes.
• Guide functional configuration activities using Central Business Configuration (CBC).
• Ensure adherence to Clean Core strategy and Public Cloud extensibility models.
• Lead Fit-to-Standard workshops and support adoption of standard SAP capabilities.
• Review and approve functional designs, configuration approaches, and test scenarios.
• Support cutover planning, go-live strategy, and hypercare stabilization activities.
• Mentor functional consultants and coordinate across multiple delivery workstreams.
• Partner with project leadership on scope planning, delivery estimates, and risk management.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to stakeholders by translating business requirements into scalable SAP solutions.
• Coordinate with SAP, system integrators, and third-party vendors when required.
• Support transitions from implementation to AMS and long-term support models.

Desired Experience

• 12+ years of overall SAP experience with at least 5 years in a Solution Architect or Lead Functional role
• Strong hands-on experience delivering SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud implementations (minimum 2–3 projects)
  
• Architecture-level expertise in at least one core functional area (FICO preferred; SD or MM acceptable)
  
• Extensive experience with SAP Best Practices and Fit-to-Standard methodology
  
• Strong experience using Central Business Configuration (CBC)
  
• Deep understanding of S/4HANA Public Cloud limitations and extensibility options
  
• Experience leading global or multi-region SAP programs
  
• Strong stakeholder engagement and executive-level communication capability
  
• SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud certification (preferred)
  
• Experience with GROW with SAP or RISE with SAP programs (nice to have)
  
• Familiarity with SAP BTP extensions and integration patterns (nice to have)
  
• Experience working within global delivery or BOT models (nice to have)
• Prior involvement in Hypercare-to-AMS transition planning or support model design (nice to have)
