We’re seeking a **Finance Manager, FP&A** who is passionate about making a difference and driving impact. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to meaningful work and help shape the future of care in communities across the country. 

 

The FP&A Manager performs work across markets and corporate functions to deliver value through financial analysis, reporting, and forecasting. This role supports Finance Business Partners (FBPs) by providing data-driven insights, maintaining forecasting models, and enhancing reporting processes to improve decision-making and operational performance. The position plays a key role in financial planning cycles, reporting automation, and ongoing FP&A transformation initiatives.

Responsibilities:

What You'll Do:

  • Financial Analysis & Forecasting:
    • Supports financial planning and analysis across multiple markets, including monthly close, bi-weekly estimates, quarterly forecasts, and annual operating planning (AOP).
    • Prepares variance analyses, KPI trends, and insights that highlight operational drivers, financial risks, and opportunities.
    • Maintains and enhances market forecasting models to ensure accuracy, consistency, and alignment with business expectations.
    • Validates financial actuals and planning inputs across markets and departments, partnering with Finance Business Partners and data/technical teams as needed.
  • Reporting & Automation:
    • Develops and improves recurring financial reporting packages, including monthly financial reviews (MFRs), risks and opportunities (R&O) reporting, and KPI dashboards.
    • Partners with the Reporting & Data Analytics Lead to automate manual reporting processes and enhance dashboard capabilities using tools such as Power BI.
    • Supports the rollout of planning system enhancements and reporting structures within Oracle PBCS.
    • Ensures data integrity across systems, including NetSuite, Workday, and internal financial models.
  • Business Partner Support:
    • Provides analytical support to Finance Business Partners for market reviews, leadership meetings, and operational discussions.
    • Supports the development of business cases for operational initiatives.
    • Serves as a trusted analytical resource, helping FBPs interpret financial trends and communicate insights effectively to market leadership.
  • Process Improvement & FP&A Transformation:
    • Identifies opportunities to streamline workflows across close, forecasting, and reporting cycles.
    • Contributes to FP&A transformation initiatives, including supporting the redesign of Oracle PBCS through testing, validation, and integration of updated hierarchies and dimensions.
    • Helps standardize forecasting methodologies, KPI definitions, and reporting templates across markets to improve consistency and scalability.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:
    • Collaborates with Accounting/Controllership to reconcile actuals, validate accruals, and align on close timelines.
    • Partners with Operations and market teams to gather input related to headcount, vendor spending, facilities, and key operational KPIs.
    • Works with data and technical teams to ensure financial models reflect accurate assumptions and up-to-date data.

 

Qualifications:

What You'll Bring:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; strong preference for candidates with experience in NetSuite, Power BI, and Oracle PBCS.
  • Interest or experience in automation tools, AI-driven analysis, and innovation-oriented solutions.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills; able to balance corporate and market support effectively.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting required, MBA desirable.
  • 2-4 years of experience required, including accounting and financial statement analysis and financial modeling.
  • Healthcare industry experience preferred.
  • Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite preferred), planning and budgeting tools (Oracle PBCS or similar), and business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI).
  • Working with Private Equity-backed companies beneficial but not required.

 

 

Physical Requirements:

  • Sedentary – ability to remain in a stationary position for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and clearly with others to exchange information.
