  • Track, qualify, and route leads from multiple sources and collaborate in a team environment; travel for high-level meetings as needed

About the role


The Mid Law Account Executive plays a critical role in the continued growth of BigHand Technology. Your primary responsibility is generating revenue in the assigned territory.

The Mid Law Account Executive will prospect for opportunities by conducting outreach and securing qualified appointments that lead to opportunities within the addressable market to generate revenue for BigHand’s People and Document Productivity Technologies.

What you’ll do
  • Conduct a high volume of outbound telephone calls, email campaigns, and other lead-generation activities to existing and prospective customers to identify decision-makers and opportunities with the goal of building and closing opportunities in the funnel.

  • Work campaigns consisting of pre-qualified calls or cold calls and securing appointments.

  • Build relationships deep and wide across the industry with key personas including the C-suite.

  • Research and qualify new business opportunities in accordance with approved sales management guidelines.

  • Learn and understand the value proposition of BigHand People and Document Productivity software solutions and effectively communicate this understanding to existing and prospective customers.

  • Update client and prospect information in our CRM system.

  • Build profiles of prospective clients using publicly available information.

  • Field inbound calls from prospective customers generated from targeted marketing programs.

  • Track, qualify and route leads sent from all sources including but not limited to direct mail campaigns, inbound and outbound calling, marketing, new sales group, special events, trade shows, and company websites.

  • Work effectively with and assist others in a team environment.

  • Be curious, and acquire and leverage investigation or probing skills to uncover sales opportunities.

  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Travel for business if necessary for high-level meetings, conferences, and events.

What we’re looking for
  • Comfortable working in a high-energy, fast-paced environment with a growth-oriented mindset.

  • Strong communication skills with confidence communicating with a range of people.

  • Strong time management skills.

  • Ability to use Microsoft Office applications (including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, PowerBI, and Outlook).

  • Ability to work both independently and assist others in a team environment.

  • Ability to quarterback deals in a team selling environment.

  • Able to quickly and expertly navigate the internet, including utilisation of appropriate search techniques to identify useful information supporting your sales efforts.

  • Insatiable curiosity with proven investigation and probing skills to uncover sales opportunities.

  • Willingness to leverage LinkedIn and other social channels to drive engagement and build relationships.

Desirable
  • 3-5 Direct sales experience from lead to close within a SAAS environment.

  • Knowledge of the legal industry.
