Job description

Title: Technical Business Analyst – Health Plan Process & UAT (Provider / Claims)
Location: 100% Remote
Type: Contract-to-Hire
Duration: 6 months+
Rate: 62.50

Overview

We are seeking a Technical Business Analyst to support process design, testing, and workflow validation across a complex healthcare product involving provider search, claims logic, and member/provider interactions.

This role focuses on UAT, workflow design, and translating complex system behavior into clear business processes.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and execute UAT and scenario-based testing across:
- provider search functionality
- co-pay logic
- claims outcomes
Define and document end-to-end workflows, including:
- provider experience
- customer service processes
- billing / explanation flows
Support SSO setup and testing scenarios
Create process documentation and visual diagrams (e.g., Visio)
Translate complex system logic into clear, business-friendly explanations
Partner with stakeholders to ensure processes are understood and operationalized
Support training and enablement for customer service and provider-facing teams

Required Qualifications

5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in healthcare environments
Strong experience with:
- UAT / testing
- process mapping
- workflow design
Background in healthcare payer systems, including:
- claims
- provider workflows
- eligibility
Ability to bridge technical and business teams effectively
Strong documentation and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

TPA (third-party administrator)
Experience with:
- provider search tools
- benefit interpretation / co-pay logic
Familiarity with SSO concepts and testing scenarios
Experience supporting customer service or provider operations workflows
