We are currently recruiting for a Bankruptcy Manager.
The Bankruptcy Manager is responsible for providing leadership and operational oversight of the firm’s day-to-day operations in the Bankruptcy Department. The role is responsible for managing a team or teams producing various bankruptcy pleadings, monitoring case activity, managing deadlines, driving timely and accurate handling of bankruptcy referrals and maintaining accurate and up-to-date reporting across internal and client systems. The manager will proactively pursue efficiency, compliance and high-quality service throughout all operational lines of the department.
Responsibilities:
· Oversee all aspects of bankruptcy operations from referral to resolution regarding the Proof of Claim, Notice of Payment Change and Post-Petition Fee processes.
· Lead and manage team to ensure high performance standards are met.
· Identify opportunities to streamline, automate and optimize departmental processes to increase efficiency.
· Analyze reporting and client scorecards to identify trends, risks, and areas of improvement, implementing process enhancements and training initiatives to increase efficiency and reduce errors
· Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates, answering questions and addressing concerns related to bankruptcy matters.
· Ensure compliance with legal standards, firm policies and client expectations by conducting quality reviews of work product, providing feedback and implementing improvements accordingly.
