Job description

Join Our Mission – Make a Difference in the Lives of Children with Autism and Developmental Disabilities!

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Senior Product Manager to drive meaningful innovation and shape transformative software solutions that profoundly impact on the lives of children with autism and developmental disabilities. Reporting directly to the Director of Product Management, this individual contributor role will play a key part in connecting healthcare delivery, operational excellence, data, and emerging technologies to deliver impactful products that serve members, families, providers, and payer stakeholders.

The ideal candidate brings strong experience in healthcare software product management, with familiarity across payer environments, data-intensive platforms, and AI-enabled product development. This person will combine empathy, strategic thinking, and executional rigor to guide products from concept through launch and continuous improvement.

This is a fully remote position and must be able to work core hours aligned to Pacific/Hawaiian time zones. Occasional travel may be required.

Responsibilities: What You’ll Do:

  • Bring a strong understanding of healthcare payer and provider ecosystems, including how reimbursement, authorizations, compliance, data exchange, and operational workflows shape product needs.
  • Take full initiative and ownership of the product lifecycle, from ideation through successful deployment and continuous improvement.
  • Apply your exceptional critical-thinking skills to proactively identify challenges and creatively solve complex problems.
  • Demonstrate an insatiable appetite for knowledge, continually updating yourself on healthcare business practices, systems, compliance requirements, and emerging technological advancements.
  • Skillfully collaborate with technical teams, confidently navigating IT complexities to ensure smooth and efficient product development.
  • Anticipate and proactively mitigate potential project roadblocks, ensuring projects remain on track and aligned with strategic goals.
  • Manage projects meticulously, consistently meeting financial budgets and delivery timelines.
  • Leverage resourcefulness to maximize project outcomes, demonstrating robust results from allocated resources.
  • Serve as an empathetic and articulate communicator, successfully bridging business objectives and technological capabilities.
  • Commit to becoming a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in our product domain, healthcare services, and the distinct needs of the autism and developmental disability communities we serve.
  • Partner closely with business, clinical, operational, compliance, and technical teams to define and deliver healthcare software solutions that support organizational and member outcomes.
  • Translate complex business needs into clear product requirements, priorities, and roadmaps that align with strategic goals.
  • Collaborate with engineering, data, and cross-functional partners to support the development of AI-enabled and data-driven product features, including workflow automation, insights, decision support, and intelligent user experiences.
  • Ensuring products are designed with appropriate consideration for privacy, security, governance, regulatory compliance, and responsible AI practices.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.

We intentionally avoid rigid education and years-of-experience minimums, recognizing that these requirements can create barriers for historically excluded groups. This role is best suited for someone with experience supporting or leading healthcare software product development, navigating regulated environments, and collaborating across business, technical, and operational teams. Experience with payer-facing workflows, data-intensive platforms, and AI-enabled product capabilities will be especially valuable.

  • Proven track record as a Product Manager in healthcare and software development.
  • Lead product delivery with strong operational discipline, balancing user needs, business priorities, timelines, and technical constraints.
  • Deep understanding of healthcare systems, laws, regulations, and compliance standards.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare laws, regulations, compliance requirements, and risk considerations in product development.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking capabilities.
  • Proven ability to deliver on time and within budget while achieving strategic goals.
  • Outstanding interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Demonstrated success in efficiently interfacing between business stakeholders and technology teams.
  • Passion for continuous learning and growth, with a dedication to social impact.
  • Familiarity with interoperability and healthcare data exchange, including integrated workflows across clinical, operational, and financial systems.
  • Ability to evaluate and prioritize AI opportunities with a practical understanding of business value, implementation constraints, governance, and risk.
