Responsibilities

  • Breaking the mould of a traditional wealth advisor, the adviceDirect Premium advisor is supported by an industry leading advice recommendation and monitoring engine and Advisors will work virtually to build strong relationships and loyalty amongst clients and grow a book of assets
  • Leverage available tools and expertise to determine individual investment needs and professional, customized advice to help clients make real financial progress
  • Support client onboarding and overall experience through product demos, financial needs and goals discussions and suitability/KYC discussions, conduct proactive and recurring reviews of client portfolios to ensure alignment with current and future
  • Work collaboratively with a team of support resources and other advisors to deliver best in class experience
  • Prepare and present appropriate investment solutions leveraging adviceDirect tools and aligning to clients’ investment objectives.

Qualifications

We are seeking candidates who exhibit a strong desire to work in a fast-paced environment and who truly want to make a difference in the lives of our clients. Successful candidates will have:

  • Robust knowledge and familiarity with common wealth management strategies and their relative strengths and weaknesses
  • Experience managing a portfolio of clients through various market conditions and situations
  • Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of client needs by segmentation
  • Comprehensive understanding and awareness of competitor offerings and trends
  • In-depth knowledge and understanding of industry regulations and standards
  • Excellent communication, organizational, time management, and listening skills.
  • Bilingualism preferred, French and English
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills with the ability to relate to a wide variety of individuals
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of relevant professional experience
  • Industry Accreditations or working towards preferred (CIM, CFA, CFP)
  • RR licensed or successful completion of Canadian Securities Course, Conduct and Practices Handbook and any other course required to maintain RR status

Salary:

$56,000.00 - $103,500.00

The above represents BMO Financial Group’s pay range and type.

Salaries will vary based on factors such as location, skills, experience, education, and qualifications for the role, and may include a commission structure. Salaries for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on number of hours regularly worked. For commission roles, the salary listed above represents BMO Financial Group’s expected target for the first year in this position.

BMO Financial Group’s total compensation package will vary based on the pay type of the position and may include performance-based incentives, discretionary bonuses, as well as other perks and rewards.
