JOB SUMMARY:
The Marketing Manager is a strategic and hands-on marketing leader responsible for developing and executing integrated marketing initiatives that strengthen the Venbrook brand, support business development, and drive measurable growth. Reporting directly to the Chief Marketing Officer, this role serves as a key partner to division leaders across Retail P&C, Employee Benefits, Brooks Wholesale, Specialty Programs, and Claims, translating business goals into compelling marketing strategies. The ideal candidate brings a blend of brand management experience, digital marketing fluency, and proven ability to operate nimbly in a complex environment.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
Brand & Marketing Strategy: Demonstrates a strong command of brand management and integrated marketing strategy principles. Able to translate business objectives into cohesive campaigns across multiple channels and audiences, with a commitment to excellence in execution.
Communication & Storytelling: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to craft compelling narratives for diverse audiences—from C-suite executives to prospective clients. Enthusiastic about the opportunity to distill complex insurance concepts into clear, differentiated messaging.
Cross-Functional Partnership: Builds trusted relationships with internal stakeholders across business units. Appreciates the priorities and nuances of each division and acts as a proactive marketing partner rather than a reactive order-taker. Skilled at managing competing priorities with professionalism and transparency.
Digital & Data Fluency: Comfortable navigating digital marketing platforms, CRM tools, and marketing analytics. Uses data to inform decisions, measure campaign performance, and continuously optimize marketing investments. Approaches reporting with intellectual curiosity and a focus on results.
Project Management & Execution: Highly organized with a demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously from concept through delivery. Sets realistic timelines, coordinates with vendors and internal stakeholders, and holds teams accountable for quality.
Industry Awareness: Stays current on trends in insurance, financial services marketing, and B2B brand-building. Applies competitive intelligence and market awareness to sharpen Venbrook’s positioning and identify opportunities.
