Roles & Responsibilities

Job Description

We’re looking for a skilled 3D Props Artist to join our team and help bring the magical world of Disney Dreamlight Valley to life. In this role, you’ll create high-quality, stylized props and environment assets that reflect the charm, whimsy, and visual richness of the Disney universe. Your work will be key in shaping an immersive and visually captivating experience for players.

You’ll be contributing to Disney Dreamlight Valley : a live game that blends life simulation and adventure, where players explore, complete quests, and build their own unique world alongside iconic Disney and Pixar characters.

Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of stylized art principles, including shape language, composition, and color theory
  • Experience with both hard-surface and organic modeling techniques
  • Proficiency in tools such as Maya, Blender, 3ds Max, ZBrush, and texturing/material authoring software (e.g., Substance Painter, Substance Designer, Photoshop)
  • Solid knowledge of PBR workflows and material creation
  • Experience integrating assets into game engines (Unity experience is a plus)
  • Ability to follow established art styles and ensure consistency across assets
  • Effective time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines
  • Clear communication skills and a collaborative approach to teamwork

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with Unity integration and optimizing asset performance
  • Ability to explore creative solutions while maintaining alignment with established visual direction
  • Experience or interest in stylized or fantasy-themed environments
